Royce Malvis Johnson, Jr., 43, of Meigs, passed away July 7, 2024 at Colquitt Regional Hospital in Moultrie.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11:00AM at Pine Forest Baptist Church, Pelham. Rev. Allen Hartsfield and Rev. Gordon Cloud will officiate with interment to follow at Pine Forest Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ray Pearson, Keith Meadows, Brendan Johnson, Justin Wilson, Bryce Wilson, Gary Meadows and Fred Taylor as reserved.

Born January 13, 1981, in Thomasville, Mr. Johnson was the son of the late Royce Malvis Johnson Sr. and Mary Ellen Fowler Johnson.

Mr. Johnson served in the United States Air Force and was Pastor of Centennial Methodist Church in Cairo and Springhill Methodist Church in Whigham. He was married to Angela Marie Eblen Johnson who survives.

Other survivors include his son, Johnathan Johnson of Meigs, his mother, Mary Johnson of Ochlocknee, a brother Carroll Johnson (Heidi) of Germany, sister-in-law, Anja Johnson, numerous other family members including mother and father-in-law, aunts, uncles, niece and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father, Royce Malvis Johnson, Sr., and a brother, Carl Wendell Johnson.

The family will meet with friends on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 10:00-11:00AM at Pine Forest Baptist Church.
