Robert Glenn "Bobby" Stanaland, 81, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Select Speciality Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 24, 2025 at 2:00PM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home. Ronald Daughtry will officiate with interment to follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steve Cain, Waylon Griner, Nicholas Whitehead, Josh Jarvis, Brendon Shiver, Mike Griner, and Michael Tucker. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Tinsley, Terry Tinsley, Trey Stanaland, and Hardin Hunter.

Born March 7, 1943 in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late Samuel Hoke and Lila Golden Stanaland. He was a self-employed farmer, member of Providence Baptist Church and the Cattleman's Association.

He was married to Betty Tinsley Stanaland who preceded him in death.

He was survived by his children, Chester Stanaland (Melinda), Lachelle Gay (Bart), Shelby Stanaland, and Miriam Hunter (Jeff); grandchildren Ashley Gay, Danielle Stanaland, Katie Stanaland, Trey Stanaland, Hardin Hunter, Cheyenne Stanaland, and Meghan Hunter; great grandchildren Madelyn Ray Spillers, Tinsley Wood and Willow Wood; one sister Clem Cain. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, daughter-in-law Angie Stanaland, brothers Horace Stanaland and Sam Stanaland, and sisters Nezie Tucker and Sue Brooks.

The family will meet with family and friends one hour prior to the service 1:00-2:00PM on Friday, January 24, 2025.
