Thomasville, GA - Robert Bussom, 81, of Thomasville, Georgia, passed away on April 15, 2025. Robert was born on October 6, 1943, to the late William Robert and Zorayda Sheets Bussom in Shelby, Ohio. He received his PhD in business from The Ohio State University and later retired from teaching at North Carolina Wesleyan University.
Robert is survived by his wife, Jane Doty Bussom, his daughter, Lynn Barbre (Larry) of Snellville, Georgia, and grandsons Ryan Barbre, Austin Barbre, Alex Carico, and Will Carico. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Julie Carico.
