Funeral services for Robert Irvin Augustus Bryant, 73, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 10, 2025, at Pine Park Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Brandon Smith and Pastor Johnny H. Moore will officiate. Interment will be in Pine Park Baptist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Bryant passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital, Thomasville, GA on Thursday, February 6, 2025.

Mr. Bryant was born on March 13, 1951, in Cairo, GA, to the late William Travis Bryant and Hulayne Augusta Davis Bryant. On August 14, 1971, he married Sheryl Norton

Bryant, who survives, and they were married for almost 54 years. Along with Mike

Jones and Elzie Jones, he owned and operated Southern Contractors. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Sheryl Norton Bryant of Cairo, GA; son, Augustus Eric

Bryant of Cairo, GA; grandson, Gavyn Bryant of Thomasville, GA and Gabe Bryant of

Cairo, GA; sister, Amanda B. McAdams (James) of Tallahassee, FL; sister-in-law,

Brenda Norton of Cairo, GA; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other extended

family.

He was preceded in death by; his parents; and brothers, Jackie Travis Bryant and William Ted Bryant.
