Woodstock, GA - Today we celebrate the life of Patricia B. Griffin, at the age of 80, as she was peacefully called to the heavens on Monday April 14th "to gather with her people".
She lived in Woodstock, GA near family and grandchildren where she spent many cherished years in her home since 2011.
Born in 1944, Patricia was the youngest daughter of Lonnie & Sadie Bell Benton of Thomasville, Georgia. She is survived by two of her four siblings in Sara Crew of Ochlocknee, GA and Ned Benton of Lawrenceville, GA. Her brother David Benton passed several years ago in Florida and her sister JoAnn Graham transitioned in 2023.
Patricia was a dedicated employee and worked for many years in Thomasville with Maxey Powell and will be remembered for her hard work, honesty and commitment to the success of those around her.
After this career period, she later married the love of her life in Stanley E Griffin of Columbus Georgia and spent many years living there prior to becoming widowed and moving to Woodstock to be near family.
Patricia loved her neighbors like family and always appreciated how they checked in on her. She is also survived by her children: Keith & Allen Wiggins as well as her grandchildren of Molly & Kacie Wiggins who are both attending college.
Currently a small private family memorial is planned for her this Summer. Therefore, it's our wish to spread the word of Patricia's life celebration to others.
Please take this honor and let it be known to all her friends and extended family that she loved and cared for each one of you! She loved flowers and kitty cats... therefore, we ask you to plant something with flowers in honor of her joys.
May God have blessings on us all and "Nothing shall ever tear us asunder"
