Napola "Na" Wade was born on August 12, 1947 in Metcalf to the late Ernest Wade, Sr. and Leola Harrison Wade.
He graduated from Magnolia High School in 1965. He later joined the Air Force and served for 19 years. He was a member of Paradise Missionary Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Estelle Wade, six children: Shonnie Wade, Nathan (Sheila) Wade, Sharie Wade, Napoleon Wade, Stacy Durant and Brian Pittman; nine sisters, four brothers, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one aunt, sisters and brothers -in-law and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 2:00 pm from the Disciples of Jesus Ministries, 228 Augusta Avenue, with burial to follow in the Old Magnolia Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held Friday from 1:00-5:00 pm at the funeral home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00-7:30 pm at the Paradise Missionary Baptist Church, 1446 S. Pinetree Blvd. The body will lie in state from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour with no viewing after the eulogy.

Napola, my cousin. What a guy from first. I'll never forget the many inspiring and philosophical conversations. A powerful force. I'll miss you, but never forget you. I know the "Gates" are open and waiting for you.
