Weaver and Rev. Will Cook will officiate. Private family interment will be in Pine Level

Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Allegood passed away at Camellia Gardens of Life Care

in Thomasville, GA on Sunday evening, May 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Active pallbearers will be her four grandsons and two employees, Jason Wynn and John Chambers.

Mrs. Allegood was born on December 14, 1938, in Cairo, GA, to the late Horace Cooper and Ruby Collins Cooper.

She was a member of the CHS Class of 1956. She was an active athlete participating in basketball and cheerleading.

On March 20, 1959, She married France B. Allegood, Sr. They have been married for over 66 years. She was the co-owner and bookkeeper of Beall Tire Wholesale Distributors in Pelham. She was a

devoted member of Pine Level Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her husband, France B. Allegood, Sr., of Thomasville, GA; sons, Skip

Allegood (Laurie) of Clermont, FL, Mark Allegood (Julie) of Thomasville, GA, David Allegood of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Allison Bateman (John) of Lakeland, FL, Rachel Allison of Wintergarden, FL, Christian Allegood (Lindsey) of Trussville, AL, Danielle Allegood of Thomasville, GA, Taylor Behl (Josh) of St. Augustine, FL, Kerigan Lemoine of Denver, CO, Luke Allegood (Emily) of Bolder, CO, Caleb Lemoine of Shreveport, LA; great-grandchildren, Jack, Elinora, Skylar, Georgia, Ellie, Garren, Asher, Millie, Lincoln; sister, Joy Reed of Cairo, GA; and nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Ruby Cooper. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Allegood's memory to Samaritan's Purse.
