Ochlocknee, GA - Johnny Eugene Henderson Sr., 64, of Ochlocknee, GA, passed away on September 21, 2025, at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born on May 18, 1961, in Thomasville, GA, he was the son of the late Henry Hoyt Henderson, Sr. and Dorothy Ruth Cone.

Johnny worked for many years in the transportation industry as a truck driver for Lamar Trucking. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to providing for his family. He was a man of great strength who cherished time spent with those he loved.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Evans; children: Johnny Eugene Henderson, Jr. (Mitzi), Justin Henderson (Stephanie), Chad Henderson (Brittany), Chris Haverty (Frances), Jamie Haverty (Stacy), Mandy Criswell (Jonathan), Michael Pippens, Danielle Evans, and Mitch Slade; one brother, Hoyt Henry Henderson Jr.; 14 grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his siblings: Jami, Deana, Debbie, Dale, Lavell, Larry, and David.

Funeral services will be held at Grace Pointe Church on Saturday - September 27, 2025 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Brent Welch officiating. Interment will follow at the Hendry Family Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the church from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Pippens, Mitch Slade, Jonathan Criswell, Brent Cochran, James Henderson, and Brian Kennedy.
