Funeral services for Jesse Morrell, Sr, 74, of Whigham will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 2:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev, Eric Mitchell will officiate and interment will be at Pelham City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Allen, Kaleb Morrell, Logan Morrell, Michael Morrell, Jacob Morrell, and Scott Hampton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Josh Faircloth, Brett McDowell and Herbert Trice.

Born March 5, 1950 in Hartsfield, he was the son of the late Blonnie and Chester M. Morrell. Mr. Morrell passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 at his residence.

He was drafted to the United States Army and Retired from Riverside as a Sewing Machine Mechanic.

He is survived by his spouse Pat Roberts, of Whigham; his children, Jesse Morrell, Jr. (Tammy Baggett); Jeffrey Morrell (Heather); Ronald Morrell (Jennifer); Megan Faircloth (Josh); grandchildren, Kaleb Morrell, Tiffany McDowell, Jacob Morrell, Michael Morrell, Destiny Everett, Logan Morrell, Landon Jackson, Hunter Corley, Logan Roberson, Dalton Allen, Michael Allen, Payge Hayes, Christina Castillo, Cierra DeForest, Kaylen Hampton, Reace Hampton, Landon Faircloth, Riley Faircloth, Bentley Faircloth and Paisley Faircloth; great grandchild, Rebecca Sage McDowell; siblings, Merle Banister, Joyce Davis, Josie Scully, and Lenwood Morrell (Judy) and Sister-in-law, Glenda Morrell. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert L. Morrell.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00-8:00PM.
