Jerry Bruce Glenn, 67, of Thomasville passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023 at his residence. Born November 1, 1955 in Pelham he was the son of the late John William and Louise Sautel Glenn. He was a yardmaster for CSX Railroad, he enjoyed the railroad, old westerns, Space X, NASA and outer space. He also enjoyed classic cars, antique guns, Politics, bargain hunting, TV and movie trivia, late 60s and 70s music. He was the Valedictorian of the class of 1973 at Pelham High School and attended VSU and UGA, and he loved to talk to family and friends about the old farm. He is survived by his sisters, Frieda G. Warren of Pelham, Dale G. Ragan (Jimmy) of Thomasville, Lori Glenn (John Najarian) of Naples, Fl and a brother Stuart Glenn of Pelham; aunt Camille Marrano (Frank) of Elmhurst, IL; two nephews and four nieces and his long-time canine companion Buddy "Scooter". He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Robert Warren. Memorials can be made to St. Judes Hospital for Children, Lewis Hall Oncology Center or Hospice of Southwest Georgia. at his request a private service will be held at a later date at the old family farm.
