Thomasville, Georgia - Jack (Mr. Jack) J. Willis, 90, of Thomasville, passed away on March 12, 2025.
Jack was born on November 15, 1934, to the late Joel David Willis and Gertrude Whiddon Willis.
He graduated from Thomasville High School in 1954. He served in the Army Reserves. He also worked at The Times Enterprise, running a linotype machine. He later started his business Jack's T.V. & Radio and retired after 33 years. He was a former deacon at First Newark and helped drive the church bus.
He was married to Barbara Sangster for 67 years. They have a daughter, Beverly (Rodney) Holt, and a son, Joseph (Rhonda) Willis. He also has a sister who survives, Sue Bradford of Blackshear, GA, grandchildren: Chris (Shelley) Holt, Chance (Shelley) Holt, Preston Willis, Jacob (Trina) Willis, DJ (Loren) Willis, Christopher Willis, and 10 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by brother Robert Willis of Thomasville, sister Betty Ruth Key of Albany, and sister Helen Peacock of Niceville, FL.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 11 am at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 4-5 pm at Allen & Allen Funeral Home
