Thomasville, GA - Dicky M. Cochran, 64, of Thomasville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday - August 20, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born in Thomasville, GA, on June 8, 1961 to the late Bobby Eugene Cochran and Melba Ann Smith Cochran.

A faithful member of Boston Baptist Church, Dicky lived a life centered on family, faith, and hard work. He worked for M & L Custom Cabinets, where he poured his craftsmanship and dedication into every project.

He married Ann Bozeman Cochran on August 18, 1990, in Thomasville, Georgia, and together they built a life filled with love and devotion. He was a loving husband, stepfather, grandfather, brother, and uncle who cherished time spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Ann B. Cochran of Thomasville; stepdaughters, Wanda Hancock (Jeff) of Thomasville, and Nancy Newbern (Keith) of Lakeland, GA; and special niece, Leanna Cook (Justin) of Cairo, GA. Grandchildren include Jacob Hancock, Mallory Newbern, Reese Hancock, Noah Newbern, and Molly Newbern. He also leaves behind special nieces and nephews: Carland Cook, Weston Cook, and Michael Jordan. He is also survived by his brother, Micky Cochran (Kerry) of Boston, GA, and Brent Cochran (Selica) and children, and Blake Cochran (Lindsey) and children

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Melissa Madison, and brother, Michael Cochran.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Boston Baptist Church with Rev. Ronald Kirkland and Rev. Tim Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Boston City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Justin Cook, Michael Jordan, Jacob Hancock, Reese Hancock, Lee Smith, Kevin Smith, Noah Newbern, and Raymond Porter. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be members of his work family: Ken Bowden, Harry Clairborne, Greg Johnson, Steven Kinsey, Chris Poppell, Ron Poppell, Lance Trawick, Luke Trawick, Mike Trawick, and Becky Trawick.
