Memorial services for Dallas William Johnson, 42, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2024, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Corey L. Shiver will officiate. Mr. Johnson passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee, FL, on Monday, October 7, 2024.

Mr. Johnson was born on January 19, 1982, in Cairo, GA, to the late William Henry Johnson and Phyllis Elaine Stuckey VanNess, who survives. He was an automotive mechanic for most of his life with Nissan. He ventured out to try something new and most recently worked at 1915 South with furniture. He was of the Baptist faith. 


Survivors include: his sons, Collin Johnson (Olivia) of Cairo, GA, Brody Johnson, of Cairo, GA; his mother, Phyllis Elaine VanNess of Eldorado, IL; sisters, Sherry Osborn (Rex) of Whigham, GA, Stephanie Bufford (Mike) of Coolidge, GA; his girlfriend, Loren Holliday of Cairo, GA; the mother of his children, Melissa Mitchell Johnson of Cairo, GA; special cousins and friends, Bubba Cox, Brandon Johnson, Greg Phillips, Bobby Mitchell; nieces and nephews, Courtney, Sissy, Destiny, TJ, Buddy, Pace, Paxton; and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his father, William Johnson (Laurie); and a sister, Brandy Johnson.

The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at Clark Funeral Home.
