Auburn, AL - AUBURN [mdash]Anita Dianne Blair Boyle ("Ninny"), 74, of Auburn, Alabama, passed away on September 12, 2025, surrounded by her family.

She was born on January 24, 1951, in Ochlocknee, Georgia, to Leon and Geraldine Blair. Anita graduated from Thomasville High School in 1969 and was crowned Miss Congeniality of the Miss Thomasville Pageant. She went on to attend Auburn University, where she was a proud member of Phi Mu Sorority, and graduated in 1973 with a degree in Home Economics. She built a successful career in private club management across the Southeastern United States before returning to Auburn to retire.

Anita is survived by her loving husband, Robert H. Boyle, Sr.; two children, Joseph Wheeler Casey III (Hannah) of Auburn, Alabama, and Lauren Liggett (Kristen) of Uniontown, Ohio; and five grandchildren: Greenley, Owen, Anderson, Jay, and Juniper. She is also survived by her brother Gary Blair and sister-in-law Ann Blair (Denny); her aunt Betty Cole of Boston, Georgia; nephews Scott Blair (MaryBeth) of Cleveland, Georgia, and Brian Blair (DeAnn) of Moultrie, Georgia; niece Roslie Parrish (Chris) of Gulfport, Mississippi; and great-nieces Mackenzie, Jessie, Kimberly, Courtney, Ella, Kate, Sarah, and Maggie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Geraldine Blair, and her brother, Denny Blair.

Anita lived a life filled with love, kindness, faith, humor, and generosity. She will be remembered for her talent and creativity in making baby blankets, clothing, dolls, and crocheted animals, which she lovingly gave as gifts or sold at the many craft shows she attended. She could often be found preparing for her next show, stocking her tiny camper full of handmade treasures, and setting out on her next adventure. Fiercely independent and endlessly friendly, Anita never met a stranger. Her family and friends will forever cherish memories of sharing "Ninny Juice" at backyard gatherings and cheering on the Auburn Tigers by her side.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Thomasville First Methodist Church, Thomasville, Georgia.
