Vivian's Story

Text size

Vivian passed away October 9, 2017 peacefully at her residence, she was 98 years old.
Vivian lived a long and beautiful life, a life that many would admire. She was born in Chicago, IL on August 18, 1919 to Dale Emerson Kitterman and Louise Kitterman (Martegani). She was the oldest of two children, and she'd never let you forget it. She went to high school in "The City of Bridges" Ottumwa, Iowa, graduating in 1936. She then made her way to warmer weather in Ft. Pierce, FL, where she met and married Ervin Luther Revill August 13, 1938; they were married for 29 years before his passing. Together they had four children (all girls). After Ervin passed, she remarried Mr. Jack Rose, who passed away suddenly not long after they married. Vivian had amazing work ethic, but was most proud of her time working for the Miami Dade County School System as a career counselor. She retired from that position in 1995, shortly thereafter she moved to Thomasville, GA to be closer to family. She spent her retirement years doing what most retired people do, spending time with family, QVC shopping, hoping to win the publishers' clearing house grand prize and watching the news. Vivian was the epitome of a strong woman, having survived the great depression, prohibition and numerous wars she was determined to live a life full of joy and nothing could hold her back. The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
She leaves behind her daughter, Mary L. Fallin, grandchildren, Denise Fallin Atkinson, Jonathan Fallin (Deanna), Kristen Tamargo (Janis), Nicole Tamargo Icard (Dustin), Craig Fogaros, Great grandchildren, Katie Rondello, Hunter Rondello, Emerson Alexander Walker, Mackenzie Fallin and Daisy Fallin.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Ervin Luther Revill, second husband Jack Rose, her brother, Dale Emerson Kitterman, her daughters Susan Revill, Charlotte Meyer, Constance Lee Revill and her son in law, Joe Daniel Fallin.
