Funeral service for Andrew Lamons will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 3, 2017 at First M.B. Church of Barwick, Georgia. Pastor Charlie Dunbar III will give words of comfort. Andrew Lamons was born September 15, 1968 to Mamie Lamons-Wolfe. He was raised by his maternal grandparents, the late Leroy and Mae Lizzie Lamons. He departed his life on May 24, 2017 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. He attended Central High School. He joined First Missionary Baptist Church in Barwick, Georgia at an early age in life. He enjoyed playing spades, pumping gas for others and hanging out with his family and friends on Carroll Hill. One of his favorite sayings is I'm going to ask you one question, say yes or no. Can I have a cigarette? Andrew was better known as Buddy Tip and PeeWee. PeeWee leaves to cherish his loving memories, his mother, Mamie Wolfe and stepfather, J.B. Wolfe of Barwick, Georgia; three sisters, Carolyn Wolfe and Johnnie Mae Franklin (Stacey) of Thomasville, Georgia, Sheron Howell (Reuben) of Valdosta, Georgia; five brothers, Edward Lamons (Debra), James Wolfe (Priscilla), Travis Giddens (Pamela), Kendrick Giddens all of Thomasville, Georgia and Jimmy Lamons (Sheila) of Ochlocknee, Georgia; two uncles, Roy Lamons (Shon) of Barwick, Georgia and Eddie Frank Lamons (Vicky) of Pavo, Georgia; seven aunts, Glorian Herring, Minnie Bell Wolfe, Angela Lamons, and Neecie Lamons all of Barwick, Georgia, Patricia Miller of Thomasville, Georgia, Tangela Glenn (William) of Hahira, Georgia and Betty Jo Daniels of Delray, Beach, Florida; a devoted girlfriend for over 20 years, Sanela Mathis, her two sons, Earnest Rogers and Clifford Bush; one daughter, Reshanda Bush; six grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends (especially on Carroll Hill). He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leroy and Mae Lizzie Lamons; two aunts, Katherine Laing and Lizzie Mae Lamons; two uncles, Charles Lamons and Wille Frank Lamons and one niece, Shakierra Young. Public viewing will be Friday, June 2, 2017 from noon to 7 p.m. Hopkins Mortuary
