Sarah's Story

Mrs. Sarah Ann Beasley, 70, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away Friday January 19, 2018 at The Magnolia Manor in Moultrie. She was born on September 6,1947 in Ellenton, Georgia to John Wesley Dunn, Sr. and Leila Thomas Dunn Brant. Before moving to Moultrie, Mrs. Beasley and her husband lived in Oclocknee, Georgia where they were very active in the community and also in the Thomasville community. She was retired from Southwestern State Hospital where she was a Registered Nurse and RN Supervisor and was very committed to attending worship services at The Magnolia Manor.

Mrs. Beasley is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Greg and Sherry Beasley, Michael and Mary Beasley, all of Tampa, Florida; a daughter and son-in-law: Julie and Mark Buckman of Hendersonville, North Carolina; two step-sons and daughters-in-law: Bill Beasley, Jr. and Julie, Robert James Beasley and Shara, all of Tampa; nine grandchildren: Emily Beasley and Issabella Beasley (both of Tampa), Joshua and Alison Buckman, Abigail and Jason Ghrist, Avery Buckman, Hannah Buckman (all of Hendersonville), Ryan Beasley, Collin Beasley, Peyton Beasley (all of Tampa); a great-grandchild, Jackson Beasley of Hendersonville; a brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Wesley "Allen" and Judy Dunn of Tampa; and three sisters and brothers-in-law: Doris and John Hawkins, Carol and Bill Cannington (all of Moultrie), and Teresa and Dr. Ignacio Armas of Tampa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Reece Beasley, Sr.; two brothers: Johnny Dunn and James Edward "Tommy" Dunn; and a sister, Susan Dunn Alexander.

A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Beasley on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 4:00 PM at New Covenant Church in Thomasville. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.boonefunerals.com. --Boone Funeral Home of Adel is serving the Beasley family.
