Services for Mrs. Minnie Lee Bean, 93, of Thomasville, are at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Disciples of Jesus Ministries, Augusta Avenue, Thomasville. Elder Denny Blake, pastor, and interment follows in Boston Cemetery. Pallbearers are her grandsons. Mrs. Bean died May 15, 2017 at Archbold Hospital. Born in Quitman, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Pauline and Lester Graham. She was married in Thomas County to G.B. Bean who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker, attended Thomas County School System and mother of New Zion Holiness Church in Boston. Survivors include four sons, James E. Bean and Kelvin L. (Ravin) Bean both of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Joseph L. Bean of Atlanta, Willie M. (Marilyn) Bean of Thomasville; three daughters, Margaret?L. (Robert) Howard of Dixie, Lillian (Tommy) Williams, Genoris Ross, Janice M. Murray all of Thomasville; two sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Graham of Boston, Minnie Graham of Thomasville; 34 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends; special friends, Sister Willie Mae Givens, Sister Lela Jones, Sister Rosa Henry, Mother Ollie Q., Sister Susie Bryson; daughters-in-law, Rudine Bean, Tiffany Smith; and sons-in-law, Larry Murray Sr. and Larry Ross Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, G.B Bean; two sons, George F. Bean, Eugene Bean; two daughters, Effie J. Williams, Naomi King; and granddaughter, Sharon Williams. The viewing is from noon to 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home and from 11 a.m., until the funeral hour Saturday at the church with no viewing after the eulogy. Hatcher-Peoples Funeral Home
