Memorial service for Michael Angelo Nocera, 78, Thomasville will be 11:00AM, Friday, January 5, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church. Rev. Dr. Timothy Filston will officiate and interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery. Mr. Nocera passed away on January 2, 2018 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born April 2, 1939 in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John and Jessie Nocera. Mr. Nocera was married to Adria Sue Miller for 25 years with whom he had three children. He is survived by his current wife of 29 years, Wyatt Rider Nocera. Mr. Nocera served in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant. He was employed by Bournes Electronics and was plant manager for CertainTeed Corporation and Imperial Glass. He was also part owner of Remote Recording Video Services. Mr. Nocera moved to Thomasville in 2005 after retiring from Lettercomm Printing. He enjoyed woodworking, furniture building, fishing, hunting, RV camping, and telling a good story. He lived by the phrase, when you give, give with both hands. Other survivors include son, John Martin Nocera of Yucaipa, California; daughters, Samantha Leslie Nocera of Tucson, Arizona and Jennifer Prince Nocera Ares of Yucaipa, California; grandchildren, Benjamin Nocera, Alina Ares, and Zander Ares; brother, Lee Nocera of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania. The family will receive friends 5:30PM until 7:30PM on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the funeral home. Guests are invited to sign the online register at www.allenfh.com.
