Michael Hollingsworth Michael Hollingsworth, 74, of Thomasville, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Funeral services will be held at Pineland Baptist Church - 2031 E. Clay St., Thomasville, on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11:00am with Pastor Johnny Cooper officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday from 10:00am - 11:00am. Mr. Hollingsworth was born in Valdosta, GA on March 9, 1944 to the late Robert Franklin Hollingsworth and Cornelia Brockman Hollingsworth. He married Inez Newman Hollingsworth on August 18, 2001 at First Newark Baptist Church in Thomasville. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a Property Appraiser for the Gadsden County Property Appraisers Office. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Tallahassee, FL and was a member at Centenary Methodist Church out of Quincy, FL. He was an avid Florida Gator fan. Survivors include, his wife, Inez N. Hollingsworth of Thomasville, a stepdaughter, Kay Childers (Billy) of Valdosta, GA, step-grandchildren, Amy Lankford (Chris) of Hahira, GA, Paul Childers (Melissa) of Valdosta, GA, step-great-grandchildren, Kaytlin Lankford of Hahira, GA, Peyton Lankford of Hahira, GA, Avery Childers of Valdosta, GA, a sister, Judy Barnett of Havana, FL, sister-in-law, Nell Hollingsworth of Havana, FL, nephew, Bob Hollingsworth of Archer, FL, nieces, Debbie Ivie (Rusty) of Havana, FL, and Lynn Hollingsworth of Havana, FL. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Hollingsworth and a brother-in-law Edgar Barnett. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: GA Baptist Children's Homes & Family Ministries - P.O.
