Services for Mary Knolton Moore, 75, of Waycross, are at 11 a.m., Sept. 2, 2017, at in the chapel of Hatcher-Peoples Funeral Home. Elder James C. Knolton Sr. will officiate and interment is in Peaceful Rest Cemetery. Pallbearers are her grandchildren. Mrs. Moore died Aug. 26 at her residence. She was born Jan. 7, 1942, in Leary, Georgia and she married Charlie Moore in Waycross. Mrs. Moore was a cook and a 50-year resident of Waycross. Survivors include her husband, Charlie Moore of Waycross; daughter, Beverly Bethea of Waycross; son-in-law, Willie Bethea of Waycross; daughter, Carolyn Owens of Waycross; son-in-law, Ronnie Owens of Waycross; sons, Carlton Bowdry of Waycross, Elder Rapheal Bowdry of Atlanta; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Bowdry of Atlanta; son, Errick Whitehead of California; sister, Willa Mash of Thomasville; brother, James C. Knolton Sr. of Thomasville; sister-in-law, Wanda Knolton of Thomasville; daughter-in-law, Jackie Bowdry; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, cousins, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation is from noon to 5 p.m., Friday in Waycross at Fluker Funeral Home, 985 Ossie Davis, Pkwy., Waycross and from 8:30 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home in Thomasville.
