Funeral service for Marean Gosier will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Aucilla M.B. Church . Rev  Lonnie Robinson Pastor, and Rev. Charles McCloud officiating. Marean  was born on October 10, 1958 in Brooks County to the late Jake and Catherine Lamons Gosier and was reared in the Patten community by her grandparents the late Charlie and Laura Lamons. She attended the public schools in Pavo and Central. At an early age she joined Cedar Hill MB church. Later Years she became a member of First Unity MB Church. She loved gospel singing. She departed this life on October 13, 2017. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Jake and Christine Lamons, her grandparents, uncle Jessie Lamons Sr. and a cousin/brother Jessie Lamons Jr.,
She leaves to cherish her memories her companion Charles Walker, her only child Anthony B. Gosier, four grandchildren; Anthony Gosier Jr., Jaceum, Jhaisa Gosier and Shanique Baker all of Thomasville, Ga; sister Mableen; cousin / sister Delois and Catherine Lamons of Miami, Fl,; brother-in-law, Johnny McKinney, Hines, Ga.; friend/sister caregiver Hattie Garland; adopted son Sherman Mitchell and Regiward Garland; nieces Amelia Arrington, Darline Rogers, Aunts Lizzie Drew all of Thomasville, Ga.; Lena McKinnon of Quitman GA; ;uncle Wesley Gosier; devoted friend Samual Howard; special friends; Lucille Lovejoy and Mary Turner famil ; Dianne Reynolds, Rosalyn Carter, Robert Pittman, Lloyd Dickey, Jerome Garland, Sandra Wilson; Dorothy McCoy, Nathan and Helen Reynolds, and Rita Diggs.
