Ludwig W. "Skip" Halstead, 91, of Thomasville, passed away September 11, 2017 at Archbold Hospital. Born March 11, 1926, in Germany, he was the son of the late Wilhelm B. Halsband and Maria Haussmann Halsband. He is married to Grace Thompson Halstead, who survives. He was a retired sales executive with several national boiler manufacturers and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He is also survived by his children, Monica Dudenhoeffer and husband Donald of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Michael Halstead and wife Cynthia of Winfield, Illinois and grandchildren, Megan Dudenhoeffer, Maria Dudenhoeffer, Luke Halstead, Christian Halstead and Ava Halstead. The family will be having a memorial service at St Augustine Catholic Church at a later date.
