Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Bouie Johnson will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Luke Primitive Baptist Church, 101 Saint Luke Lane, Reno, Georgia. Elder Freddie C. Anderson Sr., eulogist with interment to be held at St. Luke Cemetery. Active pallbearers are grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are her sons. Lois Bouie Johnson peacefully transitioned from this life on May 7, 2017. Mrs. Lois Bouie Johnson, daughter of the late Leroy Bouie and Zudie Smith Bouie, was born on November 11, 1924 in Whigham, Georgia. Lois attended the public schools of Grady County and thereafter was employed at the ITT the Wire Factory of Cairo, Georgia for many years until her retirement in 1993. She professed her faith in Jesus Christ very early and joined the St. Luke Primitive Baptist Church where she remained a dedicated member and active participant on the Mother's Board for many years until her health began to decline. Lois was united in holy matrimony on January 27, 1951 to the late Mr. Hollis Johnson Sr., and from this union nine children were born. Survivors include sons, Eddie (Karen) L. Maxwell of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Charles Johnson of Reno, Georgia, Bernard (Chriseen) Johnson of Cairo, Georgia, Leroy Johnson of Reno, Georgia, Bobbie A. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia; daughters, Joanne J. Henderson of Havana, Florida, Agnes (Eric) J. Walden of Havana, Florida; 13 grandchildren, and host of great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins. Cloud Funeral Home
