Funeral services for Helen Forrest Johnson Flanders born to the late Pinkie Hadley Johnson and Edward James Johnson. She passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Archbold Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM at First Seventh Day Adventist Church 1400 Magnolia Street, with burial in Peacefulrest cemetery. Officiating minister Pastor Brian McKinney and Eulogist Elder Reginald Flanders, Sr. of San Antonio, Texas.
Survivors include; sons; Gregory Flanders, Sr. (LaShun) Ochlocknee, Jerome Flanders, Sr. (Maria) and Reginald Flanders, Sr. (Loraina) both of Thomasville. Step sons; Edgar Johnson, Larry Johnson both of Thomasville and Noah Flanders, lll of Jacksonville, Fla. Step daughters; Shelia Wright Davis (Bernard), Brenda Wilson (Stephon), and Barbara Ann Wilson all of Thomasville. Step sons; Jeff Wright (Patricia) of Beachton, Kenny Wright (Lillie) Tallahassee, Fla., Charlie Earl Wilson (Ella), Morris Wilson (Shelia) all of Thomasville. Step sons; Lewis Wilson, Jr. South Carolina, Johnny Wilson (Jacqueline) Columbus, Ga. Billy Wilson (Marie) Alabama, Leon Simmons Wilson Savannah, Ga., Brothers; Alma Johnson, Sr. and Charlie Johnson (Gloria) both of Thomasville. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews cousins, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be Saturday from 12 noon until 8:00pm. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state at the church from 9:30am until funeral hour.
The procession will met and leave from 217 Altman Ave. at 10:40 am.
