Services for Genell Perry Clements of Dixie are at 11 a.m., Monday May 15, 2017 at Boston Church of God. Pastor David Douglas will officiate and interment is in Grooverville Cemetery. Mrs. Clements died Thursday, May 11, 2017 at The Presbyterian Home, Quitman. Born June 2, 1937 at Tifton, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late William Leslie Perry and Sinnie Mae Smithy Perry. On November 30, 1954 in Lowndes County, Georgia, she married Paul Stanford Clements Sr. who preceded her in death on December 15, 2004. She was a homemaker and a member of Boston Church of God. Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Higgs of Quitman; sons, Stan Clements (Kim) of Dixie, Matthew Clements of Dixie; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita Perry Golden of Lenox; and a brother, Mack Perry (Nell) of Fitzgerald. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. The family will receive friends Monday, May 15, 2017 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Boston Church of God.
