Services for Estella J. Hawkins, 80, of Thomasville, are at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Mount Sinai Apostolic Faith Church. The Rev. Ricky Monroe, pastor and officiating and interment is in Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers are her grandsons. Mrs. Hawkins died July 17 at Archbold Hospital. Born Sept. 5, 1936, in Thomasville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Sammy and Emma Ross Johnson. She was a graduate of Magnolia High School and a member of Mount Sinai Apostolic Faith Church. Survivors include son and wife, Anthony J. (Daisy)?Jones of Green Cove Spring, Florida; daughters and husbands, Sheila (Marvin)?Pate of Cairo, Cynthia (Danny Sr.)?Sloan of Tallahassee, Florida; son and wife, Federic (Dorothy) Jones of Chattahoochee, Florida; daughter, Lovetta Jones of Thomasville; 41 grandchildren; 92 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and four god children. Special thanks to the doctors and staff of Fresenius Medical Care. The viewing is from 1 to 7 p.m., Friday at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour at the church with no viewing after the eulogy. The family will receive friends after the services at Mount Sinai Apostolic Faith Church fellowship hall. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:20 p.m., Saturday at 412 McKinley St. for the processional.
