Brenda Mathis Butler, 44, of Camilla passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at her residence. Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 9, at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home, with interment at Pinecrest Memory Gardens, with the Rev. Neal Hager officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Stephen McKinnon, Brad McKinnon, Brian Hayes, Jake Hayes, Robert Rumble and Brian Brock. Honorary pallbearers are Aric Maloy, Lance Harrison, Chris Atkinson, Justin Itson, Scott Humphries and P.T. Harrison.
Born January 24, 1973, in Cairo, she was a daughter of Roddy Mathis and of the late Diane Pearce Mathis. Mrs. Butler was a registered nurse and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include her husband, Tommy Butler, of Camilla; her father, Roddy Mathis, of Cairo; two sisters, Rhonda Hayes, of Whigham, and Terri McKinnon (Stephen), of Pelham; a niece, Brianna Hayes, of Whigham; two nephews, Jake Hayes, of Whigham, McKinnon (Jasmine), of Cairo; and numerous nieces and nephews of the Butler family. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, December 8, at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home.
