Services for Beata Shinette Wilkerson, 37, of Cairo, are at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at Saint Stephen M.B. Church. Evangelist Chanta Jones will officiate and interment is in Walden Cemetery. Pallbearers are Fred Bradshaw, Tiger Adams, Justin Addison, Antonio Holt, Karenza McNair and Vincent Hubbard Jr. Mrs. Wilkerson died July 29 at her residence. Born in Thomasville, she was a daughter of Gwendolyn Walden and Richardo Wilkerson. She attended Grady County public schools. Survivors include a daughter, Nadia Almond of Cairo; son, Oscar Almond?Jr. of Cairo; granddaughter, Za'Daee Almond of Cairo; mother, Gwendolyn Walden of Cairo; father, Richardo Wilkerson (Valerie) of Smyrna; grandmother, Carolyn Heard Walden of Whigham; five sisters, Meikova Wilkerson, Mekia Jackson (Dexter), Brandi Ahons (Solomon), Daviyette Addison, Elizabeth Wilkerson; two stepbrothers, Teze Caldwell, Jesse Caldwell; four uncles, Garrett "Van" Walden (Wateasure), Calvin "Ron" Issac (Christina), Alonzo Wilkerson (Tosha), Tommy Gurley Sr.; four aunts, Rolaunda Mitchell (Henry), Marion Jones (Ralph Sr.), Sandra Walden, Cora Walden; godmother, Elaine Perry; godsister, Fatashia Perry; godbrother, Darius Walden; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
